He has since retired from acting, which I think is a shame. I personally have him as one of my 5 favorite actors of all time. Any thoughts on Gene Hackman?

Yeah I like him. Can't think of much else to say at this point though..... Other than I like him.

I think he seems like he should be British, and I like how he spells his name.
His performance, like I said in the other thread, in Unforgiven was exceptional, and no-one could parallel that. In that role, he was the perfect opposite to Clint and it mixed the film up something special.
I also liked him in the firm, but it has to be said that Gene can smack a woman around on screen like no-one else, he was perfectly mental in Extreme measures.
I can't remember who said it on the other board, but I now have visions of Lex Luther as representing megalomaniac real estate agents across the globe. Hackman, a prime cut of that mould.

I... what? How else would you spell it? Jean Hackman Gene Haqman Jean Haqman Geen Haqueman Gee Nackman Djeen Haquemann the third (And numerous variations of the above) Hmmm....

Blonde unequivocally owns all things wry and witty.

I disagree. It was just, sadly, the most villainous picture of Gene Hackman I could find from "Superman". Lol. =)
And, I'm not witty. If I were, I wouldn't bother comparing myself to David Koepp. Stupid David Koepp.

Well, no matter what, you need this jacket. All witty men wear this jacket:

Yeah? So do all the best supervillains. Why hasn't a Bond villain ever worn anything like that before?
EDIT: Lex Luthor has never taken steroids. Period.

And you know that cause the finger point is dead serious.

In my imagination of what Blonde looks like, he IS wearing that jacket.

Off-line is not much different than your imagination.

No. Not one bit... Lol.
You know, except for the whole plaid jacket, yellow shirt and weird polka dot thing, you'd be right on, Flashes...
