Same as Tom Cruise. What are your favorite and least favorite Jack Nicholson movies?

Best: One flew over the cuckoos nest, followed by the Shining.
Also like Easy Rider, As good as it gets, The departed...
Didn't think much of anger management.
He was quirky in the witches of Eastwick.

Just re-watched "Chinatown" and that is a really good performance. "The Shining" and "Cuckoo's Nest" are classics.
I have to say, I was never too impressed with Jack in "The Departed". I really like the movie, but he was nowhere near my favorite from that film.

Yes The Shining (of course) and Witches Of Eastwick are some of his finest moments.
I agree with The Departed not being one of his best.

I would say my favorite is probably The Shining. It's good stuff all arond.
Now, on the other hand, I thought Wolf just... sucked.

You would think Jack and a werewolf movie would be perfect, but the script kind of sunk that idea.

You know, Flashes, I watched Cuckoo's Nest just the other day. It still wasn't blowing my hair back. I mean, it was Jack being... the normal guy whereas The Shining had Jack being the crazy guy.
Now, the rest of the movie was great but I was a little disappointed in ol' Jack.
And, yes, Jack as a werewolf should've been classic. But, it wasn't. Lol.

Cuckoo's Nest, though, he goes to the mental hospital pretending to have a mental illness to not be in prison...

That's true, but that's the whole point. He was pretending and he never goes crazy. He just kind of gets overpowered.

That's the story though, he gets overpowered but the inmates don't... in some capacity.

The point is, Jacky Jack wasn't crazy. He should've been because I think that movie would've imploded the Earth with that many crazy people.

Doesn't the film challenge our understanding of what crazy is.
It's the cool hand luke of the loony bin.

It does. I will admit, it is not my favorite film of all time, but I do respect it and appreciate the acting in it.
