Maybe it's about time we start discussing your favorite movies and least favorite starring a particular actor. Feel free to create new threads like this anytime, although try to keep the Subject looking similar, please.
So, what are you favorite and least movies that Tom Cruise has starred in (starred implying that he wasn't in the movie for ten minutes or anything like that).

Minority report & Risky Business, Last Samurai, Rain man, A few good men, Days of Thunder
I didn't see Knight and Day as I am not into rom com's - I think he is incredibly watcheable. Even when the films aren't great I can't help but like them.

So, none you didn't like in there? Good times.
Here's a toughie. I liked Magnolia better than I liked Minority Report. Thing is, Magnolia was an ensemble movie (however, I thought Cruise was the best actor in it, overall). So, he didn't really star in it, but he was the best.
However, Minority Report was great and the only part of the movie that was no good... didn't have him in it. I go with Minority Report.
Least favorite: Far and Away. I couldn't stand watching Ron Howard jerk himself off pretending like his movie was actually trying to say something.

A few favorites of mine are: Minority Report, Magnolia, Collateral, Mission: Impossible
A few not-so-favorites are: Mission: Impossible II, Knight and Day and Far and Away.
Overall, I like the guy and the roles he picks. I'd say over 70% of the films he has done, I have enjoyed. His personal life? That's a little different.

Like Tarantino. We (meaning me) don't really want to see or hear from you whenever we're not in the theater. Lol.

I agree, though the smartest thing he did was Tropic Thunder because that seemed to get him back in the good graces of most people.

Free Katie.
I have never seen far and away, MI2 lol, I do kind of agree with you 'I'M NOT GOING TO LOOOOOSE YOU, WE'VE GOT 19 HOURS AND 27 MINUTES'.
But that was the first film I ever saw at the cinema with my childhood sweetheart so it will always be precious to me.

We all have movies that aren't good, but have some special meaning. M:I-2 is one of the first official movie posters that I own. Not as special as your story, though, Flashes

I was just watching some Siskel and Ebert reviews and they gave Days of Thunder 2 thumbs up. Got to love how you never know what ratings they would give.

Best: Valkyrie or Born on the Fourth of July Worst: By far -- Far and Away!

Far and Away, after all, was just Ron Howard jerking himself off while he was waiting for the script for Apollo 13 to show up at his doorstep.

Even McConaughey trying to get Ben Stiller his Tivo? I mean, I wasn't a big fan but that was a great running joke.
