British director Christopher Nolan has become a top-tier director over the last decade. Starting with films such as Following and Memento through the big-budget Inception and the Batman trilogy, he has made some of the highest-regarded films as of late. Anyone got thoughts on him and his films?
Personally, I rank him as one of my favorite directors due to him never having made a bad film, in my opinion. I really enjoy Memento and his remake of Insomnia.

Well, I've cheated. I never finished a movie of his (directed) that I didn't like. However, had I finished "Insomnia", I wouldn't have enjoyed it. "Following" to a much smaller extent. I popped it on for about 20 minutes one day before I had to turn it off so I hadn't really gotten into the story yet.
As for the rest, none came near dislike.

Following, for me, was probably my least favorite, if I had to choose. I liked the idea, but I feel I am too used to Nolan was a medium to large budget, that such a small budget threw me. I hae only watched it once though.

I haven't seen all of his movies, but I have yet to see a bad one. Hard to say which is my favorite. At present, I'd probably say "The Prestige."

Over Memento?! I kid, I kid. The Prestige is still cemented as my second favorite of his. =)
