I wont believe it till it's completed. I want to see it, but this film has had many false starts.

I think that train has passed. I mean, I'll still see it but we've gotten to that point (similar to the "Cloverfield" sequel) where they had their moment and should just let it go.

By the time it comes out, it'll have been ten years. That's a lot of time and movies that have come and gone since it came out. Just saying.

Call me backwards, but I had no idea this had been in the pipelines prior to this. Additionally, I don't feel like the two films will be contingent on each other, they don't seem interrelated in anyway other than by their initial source, so I guess I didn't see it that way.
Then again, i'm from Yorkshire, so what the heck do I know!

You know more than us! Last I knew, they were going to intertwine bits of other stories into the main plot; a dame to kill for. I remember a few years back, Frank Miller talking about writing more Hartigan stuff for the film as well. No idea what to expect though.

God, I hope not. He was in a groove back in the mid-'80s through early '90s. Anything that came after was complete balls.
Just try and let Robert Rodriguez do his thing and it'll hopefully come out well like last time.

Also confirmed is that William Monahan (The Departed) is co-writing with Frank Miller. That particular bit is old, but the rest of it was rather telling...

I was thinking the same thing, especially if they are doing the same thing as the first: copying the panels to script.
