George Carlin is by far my favorite comedian and I feel his 1999 performance: "You Are All Diseased" is his best performance, followed closely by 1992's "Jammin' In New York".
Who is your favorite comedian and is there a performance in particular that stood out?

Well, George Carlin is my favorite as well. I do prefer "Jammin' in New York" overall, but I wouldn't put "You Are All Diseased" as second anymore. For second, I would actually put "Doin' It Again". Third would be a close battle between "You Are All Diseased" and "Life is Worth Losing".
As for other comedians, Lewis Black's "Black on Broadway" has some really clever moments and Dave Chappelle's "Killin' 'Em Softly" has a first half where it's some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen. Trouble is, it couldn't keep up that pace.

Some great comedics performances there!
Even though he is very hit and miss, Robin Williams Live 2002 was a solid, if uneven comedic performance.

Eddie Izzard - Dress To Kill.
The man is a genius. Who else can make history seem like so much fun?
And while he does a fair bit on Star Wars, like most comedians do, his jokes are definitely a cut above the rest.
