Massive Attack are a trip-hop group from England. They first got together in the late 80's and really flourished in the mid-to-late 90's. At that time, they released, what I feel is one of the best albums of all time, "Mezzanine". It is a dark, moody trip-hop album. Is anyone else a fan of them?
2 of my favorite songs are Superpredators and Angel.

I would have to go with Teardrop and Angel.
I like them alot too, it is the sort of music that transcends genre because you give it meaning more than the music itself forms itself in a certain way to you (if that makes sense, probably not).
They also remind me a little of royksopp who I like as well.

It makes sense. It really is more about mood, which you can make the song be about almost anything you want.
Teardrop is another really good song. Intertia Creeps as well.

Yes huge fan over here. Along with Morcheeba, Groove Armada, Portishead and Faithless, these guys are my favourite chill out mood music. Many many many mornings after/afternoons/evenings have been spent listening to the above, in a haze of smoke.

I just like how they really set a mood with their music. I love the dark, ambient feeling that comes off Mezzanine. Brilliant.

At one time in my life I considered Mezzanine the greatest thing to ever exist.
Blue Lines, Protection and 100th Window are good too. Not fussed about their newest stuff.

Do you guys know the scene from Snatch, where they burn Mickey's trailer and his mother is still inside, they play "Angel" by Massive Attack. Pretty awesome scene.
