There are some films you are proud to confess your love for; It's a wonderful life, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Commando, Heat, Godfather, Shaun of the Dead, one flew over the cuckoos nest - and we are willing to show how our tastes transcend genre, and how the boundaries of film can fall into any category. Then there are the films that people rarely share as a matter of course, even though you know you love them really.
Films such as Overboard, which, while starring Kurt and Goldie, isn't the most obvious movie lovers den defining possession.
Other films which spring to my mind are - Dirty Harry, to some - rubbish, to me - brilliant. Even Don't Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead. My old housemate, Northern lad to the core, hard drinker, loved the women, and extremely intelligent. He wanders into my room, holds out a film and asks me to watch it with him. It was Don't Tell Mom... the shame subsided into delight, as Christina Applegate's eyebrows lit up the screen. Since then I have had a real soft spot for the movie.
Anyone want to confess, or are we all too cool?

What is there to confess? I have the greatest taste in cinema ever!
Oh, to hell with it. I'll start you off with a beginner list.
First, we'll start with sucky action:
Smokin' Aces. Virtuosity. Crank. Swordfish.
Next, video game adaptations:
Super Mario Bros. Doom. Silent Hill.
Next, I have some "tries to be more clever than it is" movies:
Last Action Hero. Snake Eyes. The Box.
Next, some old school suckage (if everyone has these, it doesn't stop them from sucking...):
Rocky IV. Cliffhanger. Days of Thunder.
Last and certainly least, some 2000s suckage:
Ghosts of Mars. A Sound of Thunder. MindHunters.
That's a friendly list to start with.

No deal!
I included Commando as no one shows it respect. Never got an Oscar nomination, not included for film preservation. It just keeps getting forgotten about. It is all pleasure, and it goes down smooth.
