For me, the front runners are
X-Files Lost The Lone Gunmen
X-files and Lost share the negative quality of completely moving away from what made it intriguing in the first place. I am not saying T-1000 wasn't great, as always, that's a nice bike, but it wasn't really attached to the show in the way it should have been. Lost became utter tripe in the end, absolutely ridiculous ending which seems to credit the entire purpose of the series in a way x-files, despite the deviation, did not.
Lone Gunmen is a strange choice, but I felt that the characters were fantastic, and their demise just seemed utterly irrelevant and without purpose, so I had to place in there.

I kind of wish I were more of a TV person.
The last season of Lost was a mess. Sometimes, it is an interesting mess, but a mess, just the same
The X-Files was the same without the interesting part. The last season, specifically, was just fucking terrible.
Other shows I've watched 'til the end (not many):
24. Nothing good or bad about the ending. Very blah (just like the entire last season).
Nip/Tuck. Ended the way it should've, I suppose.
PlayMakers (canceled after one season). Still one of my favorite finales ever.
Rubicon (canceled after one season). It was just starting to get good when it ended.
I believe that's all the scripted TV shows I've watched from beginning to end. Lol.

Truth be told I haven't seen so much myself - including those in your list. One I need to get involved with is Sopranos; I do like British humour, spaced, I'm Alan Partridge, Blackadder, but even the shorter shows seem to maintain their credibility (perhaps because they are shorter).

Supernatural season5 finale - it was a horrible episode that was supposed to end the shows run which in the end got renewed. I haven't watched it since!

There had always been talk of a Spaced Season 3. Lately, it seems to have quelled though.
I wish 24's ending was huge. Just killing everyone and everything. Just go balls out. That ending faded with a whimper.
I don't hate the Lost ending as much as some, but it really showed that the writers had no idea where to take the show and how to end it.
I haven't seen The X-Files ending since it premiered in 2002, but I remember it being subdued and nothing special... except The Cigarette Smoking Man hiding in a cave for some reason then being blown up and a very forced appearance by The Lone Gunmen.
I guess I should watch more scripted television.

Man, I don't watch much TV. And, the TV I do watch isn't on right now. I hate the summer when it comes to TV... =(

Yeah, I hate how Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad both have all the seasons on netflix except the last one before the upcoming season. Grrr. You can watch S4 of SOA on amazon.com but of course you have to pay like 2 bucks an episode... same with Breaking Bad. John, you would dig BB... I brought Sons to you - would I steer you wrong? ;-)

All I can say is that Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy are my two favorites right now. I'm just glad they're not ending at the same time like Lost, Nip/Tuck and 24 did. That was a rough year, but that was also the year I started watching BB and SOA. Odd...

I tried watching season 4 but I agree, it was such a mess, I actually stopped watching and just decided to read the spoilers.

Shame really as it started out so good.
I still think they should have wrapped it up after 2 seasons.
