I watched this last night for the second time since it came out. The Dark Knight tonight (which I wasn't fussed about back in 2008 when I last saw it), then The Dark Knight Rises on Friday. Already have my ticket.

I own both dvds and have watched them once a piece.
They are great films but they almost require effort to watch them!
My ticket is booked for Saturday!

I really like Batman Begins, it has great pacing and a nice arced story to it but I thought The Dark Knight was so long and convoluted that I lost interest long past the 90 minute mark. I'll see if I've changed my mind in 4 years tonight and I'm looking forward to the third film.

I agree about the length - I would be prepared as The Dark Knight Rises is just as long as TDK
TDK held up very well on the small screen and I do like it more than Batman Begins as it had much stronger performances

Batman Begins is a tough movie to sit through, but with a great villain and GREAT, almost horror-y (as my brother and I would agree) third act.
The Dark Knight improves in several facets but the ending just keeps going. They should've cut about 20 minutes off the ending.

I loved the moment in Batman Begins where he stands in the cave with his arms stretched out and all the bats flying past.
I reckon he should have said "I shall call myself Bat Man!"
Not Batman but Bat Man with a pause betweeen bat and man.

My favorite scene in "Begins" is still Crane interviewing Falcone in the interrogation room. Just the look that's on Cillian Murphy's face the whole scene.

Much better than I remember it from 4 years ago. The plot's still rather convoluted but as it's a film of themes, ideas and spectacle it's easily forgiven for having lots of loose narrative threads. TDKR in one hour. Really looking forward to it.

I loved it. The ending was a little rushed (what happened to Selina?) but generally I thought it was brilliant.

Elsewhere, Alfred is in Europe at a cafe, looks around, smiles and nods, and Bruce is at another table with a woman, who turns to the side and is revealed to be Selina The fact that I didn't notice that shows it was rushed. Also, that's only implied really. What happens with Alfred at the end isn't a fact, it could be just how he wishes it to be.

I'll definitely watch it again, who knows maybe my interpretation will swing one way or the other. Either way, terrific film in my opinion.

Not as good as Blood For Dracula but still a terrifically trashy slice of cinema.

I would just like to let Driftin know that I intend to kill him for posting a picture so large it finds a way to lag my internet so I'm point I'm not even accustomed to... That is all.
