I have never been able to get over him playing a trannie in Woman on Top though; we don't have that nonsense in Yorkshire!

Of course he was. He was like the main military guy. It also had Michael (Harold Perrineau) from Lost, too... =) ^^ I remember the dude from Lost but not Jeremy!! For an actor I quite like I really don't notice him in much

It wasn't like he was hidden in the background somewhere... Lol.
I kid, I kid. I actually remember when I first saw it, I didn't notice it was Renner, either. It took the second viewing before I said, "Hey, it's Gamble. I know you."

I've just been onto IMDB and he is the third actor in the cast list.
I remember the film. I remember the plot and I have the soundtrack on my ipod I just have this mental block with Renner being in that film.
Even in the pictures I can't place him yet Rose Byrne, Robert Carlisle and even the kids I remember as clear as day!!

I like Robert Carlyle in that movie - I like everyone in that movie. I blame Renner for not making much of an impression!

I don't remember much about it myself. I remember the opening scene was great. I remember the room everyone becomes a zombie in. The house the kids go to and the napalming.
The rest? Bits and pieces.

To be fair to nee, as much as I love 28 weeks laters, it wasn't Jeremy Renner's biggest performance, and since he usually plays pretty out of the ordinary parts maybe you just couldn't picture him in that role?

I do like Robert, but he was asking for trouble getting right up in a half-zombie's face! Or half-rage-entity to be more accurate.

I second most of the above. I'd probably say Ed Harris too. Even though he's been in a few lead roles he's done a lot of different stuff. Very uinderrated actor too I think. Also Danny Trejo. Although he did recently play the lead in Machete... Robert LaSardo. And last but most definitely not least, Matthew McGrory (R.I.P)

Barry Pepper looks a bit like the lower part of his face is upside-down.
